Pay: $20.00 - $28.50
In this position, the layout technician ensures that finished steel castings meet required customer geometrical tolerance and conform to blueprint specifications. Will use Portage Layout Machine or CMM (Metronor and Faro Arm), gages, veneers, and various other measuring tools to confirm these tolerances and specifications. Will also be involved in gage control, which includes calibrating and creating new gages, and keeping and updating documentation.
